How to play this odd one out game

PipPeek is a free visual puzzle game with one simple goal: find the odd one out. Each grid repeats an animal, symbol or object, with one small change to spot. All you need is a closer look.

  1. Look around the grid

Compare shapes and details. A line, curve or missing part can give the different object away. Every puzzle has one correct answer.

  2. Tap your discovery

Tap or click the object that doesn’t match. A correct answer lights up with a checkmark. Missed it? Keep looking and try another spot.

  3. Keep exploring

The next puzzle follows automatically. At the end of a grid size, choose when to move on. You can also switch themes for a change of scenery.

Eight themes, lots of little details

Explore 266 levels across eight themes. Animals and Animal trails bring cats, rabbits, elephants and birds to the grid. Fruit basket, Little garden and Ocean friends mix familiar shapes with playful details. Cosmic bits takes the puzzle among rockets and planets.

Prefer symbols? Try Letters & numbers or Letter play—visual puzzles with no spelling or sums. Every theme is available from the start.

From a 3×3 grid to a 10×10 challenge

Each theme has eight grid sizes, from nine objects to one hundred. Complete the levels at your current size to unlock the next, with more details to compare.

Want something easier? Choose any size you’ve already unlocked. Your progress stays with you when you replay or switch themes.

Take your time, or try the timer

Relaxed mode has no time limit. Settle into the colors and find the odd one out at your own pace. For a quicker challenge, choose Timed: you get 30 seconds per level, and wrong answers don’t cost extra time.

Pause whenever you need a break; the grid stays hidden until you resume. Music and sound effects are optional; mute them any time.

A collection that grows with you

Every five different levels you complete unlocks a sticker. Finds across themes add together. Complete a whole theme to earn its badge, then visit your collection to see your discoveries.

Replaying a level or solving it in another mode won’t count it twice or award another sticker. There are no coins, energy or purchases.

PipPeek questions, answered

Is PipPeek free to play?

Yes. This odd one out game is free to play in your browser. All themes are included, and you can start as a guest without creating an account.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes—tap on a phone or tablet, or click with a mouse. On larger grids, use Zoom in and scroll around for a closer look. Hint can narrow your search when you’re stuck.

Where is my progress saved?

Guest progress and collectibles are saved in this browser. Clearing browser data or closing a private browsing session can remove them. Sign in while online to sync your progress across devices. Check that your progress is synced before switching devices.

How is this different from spot the difference?

In a spot-the-difference game, you compare two pictures. In an odd one out game, you search one grid for the object that doesn’t match. PipPeek uses changes in appearance, rather than asking which item belongs in a different category.

Can I invite a friend to play?

Yes. Share a puzzle for a friend to try, or sign in and open Friends to get your invitation link. After your friend signs in and accepts, you can see each other’s total completed levels. There’s no live match to schedule.

How does the global leaderboard work?

All 266 levels can count toward your ranking. Sign in to appear on the leaderboard. Each level you complete online adds 1 to your total, once; replays and mode changes don’t add points. Verified online progress from guest play carries over when you sign in. Complete an offline level again online to add it to your ranking.
